YIELD RATE - NUMBER OF PRINTED PAGES

Toner Cartridge yield rate

This is to be determined according to the ISO/IEC 19752:2004 standard created for measuring the yield rate of Toner Cartridges and toner magazines without a photo drum intended for Monochromatic (Black-and-White) Printers.

This standard requires the use of three printers for testing, with three Toner Cartridges in each of them. A standard testing page is used for printing (5% of the paper covered with print). The manufacturer's default settings are set on printers that are positioned in a controlled environment.

These tests were performed so that the users of TONERROBOT Refill Kits could make a comparison with the original.

The yield rate decreased by 16 pages on average in the case of the same cartridges refilled for the second time. The reason consisted of the wear of the photo-sensitive drum, doctor blades and other mechanical components.

Certain minimum changes in the yield rate can also result from the use of different paper.
