CARTRIDGE (TONER CARTRIDGE, INK CARTRIDGE)

An exchangeable part of the printer that contains a filling with a printing medium. This is ink, in case of Inkjet Printers, and toner powder, in laser printers. Exchanging a printing cartridge is simple and it is to be performed by the user himself/herself.

COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGE

Cartridge from a different manufacturer than the manufacturer of the printer. Basically, it's a copy of the original printing cartridge. Some types achieve the quality of the original in full; in the case of some other types, the print quality is worse. It depends on the manufacturer of the compatible cartridge and often also on the printer type. A lower price is an advantage of compatible cartridges.

REFILL KIT

Refill Kits contain everything that is required for refilling empty original cartridges - printing medium (ink or toner powder) and all filling accessories. Ink or toner powder is offered separately for users who print more intensively and already have a refill kit. The refill procedure is illustrated precisely in the instruction leaflet attached to each kit. It can also be viewed for each refill kit in the catalog or e-shop. Types of refill kits are not exchangeable: This means that it is always necessary to use the kit that has been designated for the respective printer model. The option of a quick refill anytime at home and repeated use of the original cartridge are advantages. The costs for printing are cut by approximately one-third using refill kits.
