Why use TONERROBOT Refill Kits?

Savings on printing costs exceed 70%, for the most part, when compared to the toner supplied by the manufacturer, while keeping the same quality. When compared to the cheapest renovations or the cheapest compatible cartridges of poor quality imported from Asia, less than 60% of the price will be sufficient for you while maintaining the quality of the original. The ecological point of view is another reason to use TONERROBOT. You can certainly imagine how the quantity of waste will be reduced if you refill a Toner Cartridge, intended by the manufacturer to be a disposable item, several times.

I can't find my printer or my Toner Cartridge. Does this mean that it can't be refilled?

With respect to the fact that this is a very new range of Refill Kits, the types for the most commonly used printers have been launched on the market. Other types will follow. This means that if you haven't found your printer or the Toner Cartridge in the Catalog, use the Refill Kit Guide for searching. You will also learn here whether a Refill Kit is available. Kits for 90% of all Black-and-White Printers used in households and offices are currently available. We are currently completing tests of Refill Kits for the most common Color Printers. These kits should appear on the market soon.

Will the print quality be reduced by using the TONERROBOT Refill Kit?

NO! The TONERROBOT Refill Kits supplied by us provide the same and, in the case of some types, even better printing quality than the original Toner Cartridges. The only factor that can impair the quality in part is the wear of the Toner Cartridge.

Will I lose the printer guarantee by refilling the Toner Cartridge with the TONERROBOT Refill Kit?

NO! Most printer manufacturers don't recommend the use of a different Toner Cartridge from the original one, because they want to keep control of the market. However, you can be sure that the potential effort of the seller to refuse a guarantee because of failure to use the original consumable material contradicts the Act on Consumer Protection. You wouldn't let it put you off at a service station if they refused to repair the shock absorbers of your car, which are covered by a guarantee, because you refueled at a different gas station than the one they recommended. Guarantee repair can be refused only if damage has been provably caused in association with use of non-original consumable material.

Can the TONERROBOT Refill Kit damage my Laser Printer?

NO! If you follow the instructions attached when refilling the toner and checking the refilled cartridge before inserting it in the printer (correct closing with the plug, cleaning the residues of toner powder etc.), damage to your printer cannot occur.

Will a Toner Cartridge refilled using the TONERROBOT Refill Kit print the same number of pages as the original filling?

YES! The toner supplied in our TONERROBOT Refill Kits has the same square weight and yield rate as the original toner. The number of pages is always based on 5% page coverage in accordance with the standard ISO/IEC 19752:2004. As you know well, when you use your printer, fax or copy machine, the number of pages you will print differs depending on the quantity of the toner required for printing these pages.

Will the print quality be identical after refilling a Toner Cartridge using the TONERROBOT Refill Kit?

YES! When printing with a refilled Toner Cartridge, the print quality will be identical. TONERROBOT contains toner powder of the highest quality available on the market, even surpassing the quality of the original Toner Cartridge in some cases.

What all will I need in order to refill my Toner Cartridge using the TONERROBOT Refill Kit?

NOTHING! Our TONERROBOT Refill Kits contain everything you need for refilling toner powder (bottle with toner powder, filling accessories, chip - if it is necessary to replace it - and understandable instructions for use). In the case of Toner Cartridges that are not provided with a filling hole, you will also need a tool for making the filling hole; this is supplied separately. You only need to buy this tool once, as it has been designed for repeated use. You will obtain the information about the necessity to buy this tool from the back of the respective package of the TONERROBOT Refill Kit or on the website www.TONERROBOT.com. This tool can be used for all Toner Cartridges refilled using TONERROBOT kits that require creating a refill hole. The tool is protected by an industrial design and for that reason, it cannot be used for refill kits of other manufacturers and, conversely, no tool of another manufacturer can be used for TONERROBOT Refill Kits.

Can I refill the same cartridge again and again indefinitely?

NO! When refilling, it is advisable to proceed as follows: If you are satisfied with the print quality even after printing with refilled toner powder, you can refill the Toner Cartridge repeatedly. However, in this case, we recommend using only some of the toner powder and refilling the rest only if the printing is without defects even after it is exhausted. As soon as the print quality is no longer satisfactory for you, the Toner Cartridge is worn and it is necessary to replace it with a new one, or to have it renewed.

How many times can I refill a Toner Cartridge before the photo-sensitive drum in the cartridge becomes worn?

Naturally, the photo-sensitive drum that forms a part of the Toner Cartridge doesn't last forever. The average service life of the photo-sensitive drum doesn't usually exceed more than three refill cycles. This may be even less sometimes; however, in some cases, it may be more. The service life of the photo-sensitive drum depends on whether you will be using your system in continuous operation, and for how long, on the paper stock weight and quality of the paper that you use for printing, and on a number of other circumstances. Each paper with paper stock weight exceeding 80gr./m2 will cause much faster wear of your photo-sensitive drum. With respect to the fact that the print quality depends largely on the drum quality, it is necessary to keep the photo-sensitive drum in good condition.

What do I do if the print quality is no longer satisfactory?

You have two options:

• Buy a new Toner Cartridge. New mechanical components represent an advantage, while a higher purchase price and the necessity to make the refill hole again during the next filling are disadvantages.
• Send the Toner Cartridge for professional renovation, where all important components subjected to wear will be replaced. The lower price when compared to a new cartridge and retaining the already made refill hole are advantages. Moreover, a photo-sensitive drum with an extended service life is mostly used for renovation. The fact that the cartridge isn't available to you during renovation is a disadvantage. This problem can be eliminated simply by buying two Toner Cartridges for alternating in the printer.

Can I use any toner powder for the Toner Cartridge? Is toner powder identical for all cartridges?

NO. There are big differences in toner powder composition. Each Toner Cartridge uses a specific toner powder. The only thing that is common for our toner powders is the high quality that we offer in TONERROBOT Refill Kits.

If the toner powder in the TONERROBOT Refill Kits is the best quality, why do you also offer compatible Toner Cartridges?

Since we live in a free country, we're convinced that our customers should have the opportunity of freedom of choice. For that reason, we supply these cartridges as an alternative to the originals. If you decide to buy our compatible Toner Cartridges, you can, naturally, use them for future refilling with the TONERROBOT Refill Kits.

Should I expect any complications when using the TONERROBOT Refill Kit?

NO. All the steps are very easy and will not create any difficulty for you. If you follow the instructions fully, you will be pleasantly surprised by the fact that the procedure is very simple and everybody will manage it without problems.

Is refilling a Toner Cartridge using the TONERROBOT Refill Kit safe for the health?

YES! The toner powder is a non-toxic substance made of plastic, iron and a very low quantity of pigment (this information was provided by the manufacturer). We only recommend that the refill hole burning be carried out in a well ventilated area - plastic melting takes place. The toner refilling process itself is fully safe when you follow the instructions.

Does all toner powder come from the same manufacturer?

NO. We test toner powder from various manufacturers and select only those with the highest quality, providing the top print quality required by us for the TONERROBOT Refill Kits.

Why have Refill Kits been offered by so few manufacturers so far?

It's not a simple matter to create a product like this in the highest quality. We know from experience on our market that many companies have attempted to carry out refilling and renovation in the past, frequently with rather dubious results. They promised good quality that, however, was frequently not achieved. The key was to find a supplier of high-quality toner powder and to develop the simplest possible refilling procedure so that everybody could manage it.
